Nakatomi2010 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I've been using WPI and at some point during my last remastering of my AIO-DVD, WPI stopped working entirely right...i can't remember when it was so I'm sorry... Currently the things WPI insalls are .NET Framework 2.0, Java, Power DVD, Nero, Ad-Aware, Open Office 2.0, AVG 7, XPize, Microsoft Antipsy, Picasa, Google Earth, Google Toolbar, and a couple other things...Basically what hapens is that at the end of the install XPize doesn't appear to install properly, the MCE theme is not installed, and WPI does not make the call for the 2 minute reboot window I told it to....So, I'm pretty sure it's not WPI because i've removed it from the install and something is still not letting that 2 minute countdown appear...Thoughts?
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 The shutdown countdown command is in wpi.cmd
Nakatomi2010 Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 I know that, but it doesn't get triggered... At the end of the WPI.cmd script it just sits there... XPize doesn't even install properly....
Kelsenellenelvian Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 It seems to me like xpize is feezing during the install can you open the task mananger and watch it and see if xpize ever finishes?
Nakatomi2010 Posted January 14, 2006 Author Posted January 14, 2006 If it doesn't finish wouldn't it keep the "Installing Application" window open?
mritter Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 It's not just the above program, it never launches on my system, either. It did the very first time I used WPI, but never again. Something I have been looking into for a while, but no clue why.
