Hi

I just installed MCE2005 and all worked well. When I try to play any content containing MPEG2 I get a error message from MCE,,, something like,, "No decoder installed".

So,,, my question is,, can anyone recomend a decent MPEG2 decoder.... which also can utilize the MPEG2 support on my graphich card,, Leadtek FinfastPX6600 (based on GEFORCE6600).

I guess my CPU can handle a SW-Decoder, but I would like to keep down the power consumption by using as much as possible of dedicaded HW.

Also,, is there a way for me to detect if the MPEG2 support on the graphic card is used??

I have a Radeon 9800 and use WinDVD 7 as the decoder. Also, I use a Hauppauge PVR 150 as the TV Tuner / capture card. Everything works perfectly

All Windows do not contain MPEG-2 Decoder ,you must install a software decoder ,sucj as WinDVD, Power DVD,NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder, ATi DVD Decoder, ect....

for NV Graphic card ,NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder is best.

you can download it here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/dvd_decoder_1.02-185-trial.html

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE ANY SERIAL NUMBERS OR KEYS IN YOUR POSTS.

How's the closed captioning support for that card? Last I heard they hadn't added VBI support to the drivers yet. Any updates?
