Bezalel Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Just look for the DeviceInstanceID in the details tab of the device properties. USB devices will start with USB\VID_???? the question marks represent the manufacturer's VendorID. Unfortunately I don't know of any publicly available list of VendorIDs
jaclaz Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 (edited) There are quite a lot of them, I can recommend these two:(more "technical")http://www.c1tech.com.tw/Dload/i_disk/UsbIDCheck.zipjust what you need:CHECKUDISK v5.0http://www.wbj3000.com/checkudisk.rarIf you want to retrieve all the Vid&Pid ever mounted from the Registry, you could use my small batch files:http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...ic=14181&st=186(but read the entire thread):http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=14181jaclazP.S.:Unfortunately I don't know of any publicly available list of VendorIDsThere is this "unofficial" list:http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids Edited December 26, 2005 by jaclaz
