albator Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 I had grab a pair of nylon underwear from my girlfriend wardrobe, Then I cut a piece strech it and put on the intake fan with a rubber band to fix. It work great ! Make sure to seal any holes in the front of your pc. With this tecnique I now clean my pc each 6 month, in the pas I had to do it each 2 month.
Jeremy Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 (edited) Vacuuming causes static electricity though! It's also not a good idea to have your case on a carpeted floor.Isn't this wonderful. Don't vacuum, you get dust-clogged fans. Vacuum to reduce the dust, and you short circuit your PC... lmao... such paranoia. We vacuum our floor regularly, and my gf/s crappy dell case sits on the carpet and I've even bumped her case with the vacuum and her PC is fine. Like I said, paranoia... Aegis Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 @albatorSo you completely blocked the airflow?
cumminbk Posted December 22, 2005 Posted December 22, 2005 I think your best bet is just to buy a can of Dust Off and once a month or so open up your case and spray it out. its what i do.
