Undelete

i really need to recover some files on a windows 2000 system, possibley on a limited account but i doubt it. help me out please? ridiculously urgent.

UNERASE.EXE from Norton Utilities 2000 (but not from crashing newer versions) after typing following command:

unerase /list /noprotected|more

lists deleted files even under Windows Me GUI.

Here's what I've been using for this recently.

Keep in mind, nothing will get recovered if any part of the file has been genuinely trashed/overwritten. Always save/recover to a separate drive and not the one you are trying to get the files from.

ridiculously urgent.

I guess by now it's less of a worry. TurricaN, please

I mentioned this UNERASE as closest old DOS undelete equivalent in Windows Me.
