ripken204 Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 manually reset the cmos, but only 1 stick of ram into the orange slot closest to the edge of the mobo (considerin that you have a dfi board, what fo u have?)
dirtwarrior Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 OK If my mainboard is shot and I want to get the best bang for my buck and want to replace board and processor(amd) any suggestions.I am poor so my budget is limited.
dirtwarrior Posted December 21, 2005 Author Posted December 21, 2005 Good news for me. I reset the jumpers for the bios and all is ok hmmm mostly. My processor is a 1900+but when I do a speed test it is rated at 1196 mhz. My mobo is an ECS. This is not a recent problem. How can I speed things up a bit?
ripken204 Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 if its an althlon mp 1900 then that it rightremember that 1900+ is only a ranking so that amd can compare their speeds to intel's
