Why convert from ntfs to fat32? Is it for compatibility with Linux or Windows 98? Other than those two reasons, I don't see a point. Unlocker just released a new version also.

yes for linux, as i needed accsess too it..

the new unlocker says its deleated but it is still there

12. Very often we see meaningless subjects in topic title. They give no clue of what the posts are all about. For example:

- Oh no!

- Help

- I'm mad

- Please help

- Question

- I need your help

- Hmmmm ....

This should be avoided. Users should enter something more specific in topic title so that it is easier for others to help.

A few good examples:

- Strange problem with DirectX9b redist

- RunOnceEx install problem (double installation)

- Change Internet Explorer's Icon back to default

- MSFN Forum Rules

Now that it's been said, have you checked to see what the directory names are via the command line? Go to Start->Run and type in cmd, then click OK. You can use the cd command to change directories, and the dir command to list the contents of the directory. rmdir /s /q is the command to remove a directory (including all files inside, and without confirmation).

Do another chkdsk first.

Open a cmd from Task Manager, then close explorer.exe, and execute the above command in the cmd.

Or do it offline.

ok i tryed all ur suggestions, offline,i even did it in safemode

Here are the results

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>G:

G:\>cd divx

G:\Divx>rmdir /s /q gremlins.2.t

The system cannot find the file specified.

G:\Divx>chkdsk /f /r/x

The type of the file system is FAT32.

Cannot lock current drive.

Volume dismounted. All opened handles to this volume are now invalid.

Volume DOWNLOADS created 18/12/2005 19:00

...

but still no errors

That doesn't look it's done a chkdsk.

I don't know why volume is dismounted. Have you looked in diskmgmt.msc?

Or do chkdsk offline, in Recovery Console.

Offline means DOS/Recovery Console/WinPE, not Safe Mode. So try deleting the file offline.
