So, i uninstalled xpize to see if it works, but it didn't restore my old bootscreen! :blink:

Now all i have is a black screen, that is until i reinstalled xpize again. Restored a disk image prior to the messing with NTOSKRNL.exe, so it's not that... What does exactly XPize do the ntoskrnl :huh: ?

Same thing happens to me. Haven't heard yet if it is considered a bug or how to fix it.

asked and replied before...

look at %systemdrive%\boot.ini, remove switches "/noguiboot /bootlogo". did it help?
