Need good reg. cleaner

i have Ccleaner but i want something made for just Reg. So is there anything free out there?

It's really sad and doesn't look intelligent on your part... there's a sticky and a "Best Reg Cleaner" thread...

I've tried them all, seriously... and the best one I've seen so far is TuneUp Utilities 2006. It isn't free. The best way to clean out your reg is to use a program that scans all different parts of the registry, looks for invalid entries in ActiveX & COM+ as well as anything else you can think of. Then go into regedit and check out:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

for any obvious crap you know shouldn't be there.
