WMC 2.0

Featured Replies

Windows Media Connect 2.0 is out in Norwegian.

Install with: /quiet /norestart.

Do not need 1.0 installed prior to 2.0

It would also appear that Media Connect 2.0 intergrates B)

so now it is no longer in my runonce, if anyone has tested this I sure would like to know if it works ok intergrated

Seems this might be more of a headache than I 1st thought

hopefully sp3 is just round the corner :sigh:

It isn't. Probably not until at least the end of Q2 2006, and maybe even later than that. The push to finish Vista takes precedence, and since there's not really enough of a backlog of hotfixes that need to be rolled up yet, there's no real pressing "need' for a Service Pack (at least from a technical standpoint) as they're mostly just an amalgomation of all public (and some private) hotfixes since the previous service pack.

:no: well thats just not cool :}

when you say "doesnt work" you do mean doesnt install right? I mean it said it was intergrated but did nothing on the install itself ?

I might be wrong, but when I tried to /integrate it told me something about wrong match of filetypes/language or whatever the message was and aborted integration. So I just call it with /quiet /norestart now.

Ahh! see I had no problems intergrating, I still havent had a chance to test my install, life keeps getting in the way! :whistle:
