November 30, 200520 yr Strange. I use this method to start installations from my own network shares ( including spaces in the path)Just how do you start the installation? From START -> RUN, or any other way?Kind Regards.Martin Andersen Edited November 30, 200520 yr by prey
December 2, 200520 yr Of course, path names with spaces are allowed. MAC-DUFF, where do you use spaces? Is "\\Notes 6.5.4de" a computer name? Since Windows doesn't support spaces in computernames, this case can't be handled, but Im not sure, may be this also works. Please can you post your INI file and the error message you'll get. Please run WIHU with /verbose=3 and /log=wihu.log switch.Benjamin Edited December 2, 200520 yr by BenjaminKalytta
December 2, 200520 yr Author hi,perhaps it was a bit unfortunate expressed. this is the path:description.2=Lotus Notes Datacommand.2= "\\bildung.deg\Netzlaufwerke$\DO-IT\Software\kommerziell\Notes 6.5.4de\LotusNotesData0.1.0\LotusNotesData.MSI"selected.2 = 0hide.2=0and this will not work by me :/
December 2, 200520 yr How does the log file look like? Are you sure you have access to \\bildung.deg\Netzlaufwerke$ ?Benjamin
December 5, 200520 yr You have selected.2=0of all stupid questions, you are clicking it manually to tell WIHU to install the software, correct?Don't wanna ask a stupid question, but its usually the simple things that come back to haunt us.
December 5, 200520 yr Author HI,yeah i am sure that i have access to the device and yeah, its correct that i have to choose its manually
