boot-screen disappears

Hey,

Since i installed i don't have the boot-screen anymore.... i am pretty sure this happened after i installed 4.1 . back when i had version 4 i had the xpized boot-screen. I uninstalled version 4 and installed version 4.1 but now i don't have my boot-screen anymore.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I'm having the exact same problem. There is no boot screen at all, just black until the logon screen.

There is no boot.bmp in C:\WINDOWS and there is no RESTORE.CMD in C:\WINDOWS\XPize\Tools

i fixed my problem with replacing my boot.ini with the one xpero is using.... if you use windows xp pro then you can use this one too. Just place it in the root of C or whereever you installed your windows.

Note: if this screws your system dont blame me but it fixed mine

In next version the boot screen will be tweaked using another method. Lets see if that method fix your problems.

That boot.ini is exactly the same as mine, it's just the default...

So that doesn't really solve my problem. I somehow don't have the boot screen file at all. If it isn't an inconvenience could someone please attach the windows xp pro SP2 boot screen file for me to download?
