Can't disable "read only" attribute.

I am trying to delete some junk spyware that got installed to my "Program Files" directory.

When I do it gives me an access denied warning.

When I go to the properties sceen for the folder and/or the specific folder and re-attribute to "read" it still doesnt work.

In fact the explorer doesnt seem to hold the change I have made.

How do I change the properties so I can delete some of these folders/files?

Have you tried restarting your computer? That usually happens to me and I am able to delete it once I restart my computer...

Ad-Aware 6 should clean out the spyware for you, and for some of the spyware it can't delete - it will do so on the next boot up.
