bigweld Posted November 19, 2005 Author Posted November 19, 2005 Update....... Well guess what ? I just installed a TT water cooling sys on my Cpu and @ 100% Load it still gets to 61/62ci am very unhappy with Intel and mostly this new duel core CPU Its way to Hot!!maybe something's wrong with the Cpu.. because i have read reviews on water cooling systems on the duel cores and they have gotten better results.... i don't know what to do any more....8(I'm just going to build me an AMD64 X2 sys and sell this one......What do y'all think?
ssmokee Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 I REALLY (cant emphasize the "really" part enough) dont think 2x80mm fans are going to move enough air through the case, unless maybe you are using something goofy like the vantec tornado. Considering that, the temps youre getting seem about right. Now that you moved to watercooling for the CPU, what is the model # of the TT system you picked up? Where is the radiator exhausting the hot air to?
Aegis Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 Well hope you find a solution soon, because the longer your CPU is exposed to such high temperatures, the earlier it'll pass away.
indianarchie Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 My new comp goes up to 50 degrees at times. The processor is P4 3.0 GHz, and MOBO is intel 945 GNT. Is this ok? There are fans for the power supply 350 watts), a side fan on the cabinet, another fan on the back of the abinet, and one for the graphics card. is this ok or excessive?
