How do I restore the origonal Boot Screen ?

Hi there, :hello:

Two Questions:

1) I was wondering if you could tell me how I return the Bootscreen to the origonal / default Windows XP version but keep XPize installed for the other GUI enhancements.

2) Also, my computer went 'laggy' when I first installed windows with XPize intergrated ( I used nLite RC 3 ). But when I installed the AGP graphics card drivers ( GeForce 6600 ) it worked fine. Is this because the graphics card 'on' the motherboard could not process the desktop graphics quickly enough but the GeForce 6600 card could ?

If I can get answers and solve these two problems then I can give XPize a deffently good thumbs up. I'm mainly concerned with solving problem '1)' about the bootscreen. Number '2)' was really just an enquiry.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks, :thumbup

Hi there everyone,

Sorry, I've just realised that you can choose what to implement with normal installation. But what about if you patch the i386 directory ? Can I choose not to install the bootscreen with that option?

Thanks,

Tetanus.
