  1. RE: Wireless Networking Issues Using nLite v1.0.1 - Final... Win XP PRO... When I try to connect my laptop to my wireless network, Windows can connect but just sits there continously acquiring an IP address - the little icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar. After 3 - 5 mins of inactivity, the laptop looses the connection and cannot locate the network again unless I remove and re-insert the PCI network card. I've tested out my wireless connection with the same PCI network card, on another laptop running an nLite - RC6 Win XP PRO installation, and have had no problems. I think that there might have been a certain tick box option in nLite (possibly 'remove components') that might be the cause of this problem but I can't locate it. My Question: What shouldn't have I removed? Thanks, Tetanus.
  2. Hi there everyone, Sorry, I've just realised that you can choose what to implement with normal installation. But what about if you patch the i386 directory ? Can I choose not to install the bootscreen with that option? Thanks, Tetanus.
  3. Hi there, Two Questions: 1) I was wondering if you could tell me how I return the Bootscreen to the origonal / default Windows XP version but keep XPize installed for the other GUI enhancements. 2) Also, my computer went 'laggy' when I first installed windows with XPize intergrated ( I used nLite RC 3 ). But when I installed the AGP graphics card drivers ( GeForce 6600 ) it worked fine. Is this because the graphics card 'on' the motherboard could not process the desktop graphics quickly enough but the GeForce 6600 card could ? If I can get answers and solve these two problems then I can give XPize a deffently good thumbs up. I'm mainly concerned with solving problem '1)' about the bootscreen. Number '2)' was really just an enquiry. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tetanus.
