Aegis Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 The latest version of Diskeeper keeps the port 31038 open constantly. To close it you must stop the Diskeeper service. The only problem with this is that you can't start Diskeeper without it then. Is there any other way to close the port?
Jeremy Posted November 10, 2005 Posted November 10, 2005 (edited) That's rather retarded for a defragmentation program to only work with a port open? Sounds rather suspicious to me. That's why I use PerfectDisk. You could block the port on your firewall or on your router, but as you said, the program won't work? Lol, our avatars... Edited November 10, 2005 by Jeremy
