RockDiesel
Sometimes things will happen on my computer out of nowhere. Like today the views in some of my folders changed for no reason whatsoever. Or sometimes I will log on and I can just tell something is out of place. Am I imagining things or does this happen to anyone else?

Aegis
Or spyware. But your problem with changing folder views seems to be when your folder customization cache fills up. Change the settings with TweakUI and see if it works.
prathapml
Cant say for sure unless the specifics are known. Like from exactly what settings, and the TO exactly what settings.
JRosenfeld
As far as folder views is concerned, by default XP remembers about 400, if you have many more folders then you will get some not remembered correctly. This can easily be changed by a regedit.http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htmclick on F and scroll down to section starting Folder views. It gives instructions on changing the data forBagMRU Size value in two keys. I have mine set to 7000 (decimal).(Note: TweakUI claims to have a setting to do this but it has a bug as it enters the wrong name for the value)
