How to extract image from word doc

can any one tell me how to extract image from word doc ...

Here's two ways:

First, open the word doc.

1) Go to the file menu, choose save as, then choose html. That will create an html page and a directory containing any images from the word doc. So, just go into the newly created directory and all the images will be in there.

2) Or right click on the image in the word doc, then hit copy (that will put it on the clipboard), then paste it into a paint program and save.
