ok, I have a Windows Xp Home Server and would like to make individual share folders for everyone in my household. I know how to do this in Windows XP Pro (turn off simple file sharing) but i was wondering if there was a way to do this with Windows XP Home particularly without some extra program (such as FTP.. and so on..).

Linux keeps looking better and better everyday, if it wasn't for the complex as hell commands and navigation i'd be using Linux on my server.

WinXP home you might have a bit more difficulty with due to limited functionality. I hear that there is a *ahem* somewhere that allows you to enable XPPro functionality in XPHome, so maybe looking for that is the answer.

If you boot XP Home in Safe Mode the security tabs appears. This should help you out.

I have found a better way then going to safemode or "modifying" any system files...

I have made a regtweak to add this to the control panel. based off the "Control passwords2" from this regtweak file HERE. I used the same CLSID except for the very last letter is an "F" insted of a "D" this is to keep the 2 close by.
