I'm looking for a good, simple BitTorrent Tracker program. I know that there are lots and lots of clients out there (I'm using uTorrent right now ), but I'm not sure what tracker is better than the other.

I found this guide, but it says that it's not recommended with "so many other options available". I've just got no clue as to what those options are...

I found BitComet Tracker as well, but I can't seem to figure out how to use it... maybe I'm just brain dead when it comes to this. I've got a dynamic domain, so that shouldn't be a problem, and I know all about port forwarding.

Any help would be appreciated.

Azureus has tracker capabilities built in... If I can get it to work reasonably well then I might just end up using that for both tracking and downloading... dispite it using 100MB of RAM...

I just want something to run as a basis that I can use for personal torrents, such as home made videos and the like.

If so, then better use BitComet, as it also has a tracker built-in.

Only thing is, both bitcomet & azureus are gigantic resource hogs.

But then, azureus is a bigger hog. Moreover, running as a Java app slows down the system further, besides leaving vulnerabilities & scope for crashes.
