i know that this has been brought up before, but now since opera is free, many ppl have it. and there is the problem with the UA guide and its menu b/c of that add. is anyone currently trying to fix this or could someone either get rid of that add or move it somewhere else on the page?

It's already been said that Alanoll is working on an update to the site and will not be updating the current site.

Be patient and use another browser in the meantime (or download the PDF).

i have also mentioned it to the opera staff on their forum. im not sure what theyre doing about it but hopefully it will be resolved soon as it is a giant pain in the a**.

The dreaded iFrame bug has apparently been fixed in the Merlin build, the version that is to be released as Opera 9 by all accounts.
