asklepios Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 how come you know its from microsoft? i thought they never send such crap!
gamehead200 Posted March 26, 2003 Author Posted March 26, 2003 cuz the e-mail address's domain said @microsoft.com and the smtp server used was microsoft.com...for some reason, i was made an admin...
asklepios Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 there are bulk spam softwares out there that can use any .com server name. i don't know how you check SMTP server address but using @microsoft.com is not a confirmation that it came from M$
gamehead200 Posted March 26, 2003 Author Posted March 26, 2003 Why would a spammer send me a sharepoint website link? And anywayz, I checked with some other people and they said that it came from Microsoft.
asklepios Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 okay...as you say! it came from microsoft!:peace:
SupaFly-TNT Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 Still seems odd that so many people got it, I also got that but deleted it :/ SupaFly
