n7Epsilon
Are using the famous (Alcatel SpeedTouch 510v4) router ?and btw, try accessing the router's web interface, disconnecting and reconnecting the line...Also if you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2, go to Add/Remove programs, Windows Components, Networking and uninstall the Internet Gateway Device Discovery component and make sure Universal Plug and Play is enabled...- Try an IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS followed by IPCONFIG /RELEASE and IPCONFIG /RENEW then go to the router's DHCP server and lock both of your leases....and finally, does this happen in Internet Explorer and/or FireFox ?Did you upgrade to Opera 8.50 (which is now freeware)? n7Epsilon
"Lock your Lease" This means to configure the DHCP server (on the router) to always give you the same IP address every time you connect to the network (similar to static addresses, but without the hassle of manual configuration)...It may not actually solve the problem, but it is a good suggestion nevertheless...And yes, my ISP here is LinkDotNet and i have the same experience...The upload/download speed doesn't decrease too much but during the day the DNS Resolution becomes very slow....
