Maleko Posted September 24, 2005 Share Posted September 24, 2005 Ok, just got meself a nice SATA drive, 200GB W/D....On installing windows it asks for the driver for SATA, no prob, put them on folppy detects it, I select I want the OS on that SATA drive, ok, Then when it comes to copy the files it says cannot copy si3112r.sys.....it reads the floppy drive, but nothing.... Any ideas?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yep, you made the XP cd yourself and in winnt.sif you set oempreinstall=yes. That screws up the sata driver copy.
