jada855 Posted September 21, 2005 Share Posted September 21, 2005 Hello all maxtor has a tool called amset that controls the acoustics of your hard disk To use the tool you must use a windows boot disk and run the tool from a:/promt problem is i dont have a floppy drive any more but i have a usb cd-rw drive i was wondering is there anyway to get the command prompt on a cd-rw so i can run this toolthanx for any help links or tutorials would be great.
