tricking battlefield 2

Featured Replies

hi all,

now i know that it totally sucks that battlefield 2 does not support the gf4 cards, which well just sucks, considering their still good cards. anyways, is there any way to do say a reg hack, or other kind of tweak to make make the game think your using a one of the supported cards?

thanks

:)

Even if there was such a reg tweak, it wouldn't do you any good. They put that requirement because the game engine uses some hardware functions that are not implemented in older video cards.

afaik it works on gf4's but not the MX ones

bc MX ones don't have pixel shader tech...

and u can't really trick a game when u don't have the hardware :D

maybe u can uncompress all the textures so that u might not need the pixel shader but i Highly doubt thats gonna work

instead buy a graphics card. if price is a issue buy 2nd/3rd hand..

since gf4 isn't good these days anything is better...

ok, well thought i'd see if were possible anyways. thought about upgrading my vid, but my ti still works great for everything else,

thx:)

there is a way to get it working on th gf4 4x00 series cards, give me a few and ill hunt it down. the only bad part? you cant play online because it sees it as a "cheat" since it gets rid of some of the shaders.
