thegafferazzasatz Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 is it worth me updating my 2000 aio cd with the rollup or not does it include anything useful???
chilifrei64 Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I would obviously test before I deploy, however.. as far as useful.. it takes far less to install updates.. and it gets your computer up to the lateset patch level.. I would check here for more problems with ithttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/891861If your really worried, Install it thursday night.. that way people have all day friday to come up with problems and you have all weekend to fix..
-I- Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 [qoute]does it include anything useful???[/qoute]Updating to the latest, security patch level, - No I realy DONT think that is usefull, but the chili-guy knows his timing wel, Good for him, cuz timing is everything
fdv Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Is it any good? In and of itself, no... it's really not worth much. It doesn't include the latest patches for IE 5.01, never mind 6, it still has the HALT bug, but it IS worth using if you're going to create a fully slipstreamed Windows 2000.http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=32125
