hello i just resently formated my computer and now my video card doesn't seem to be working right. i have an ati 9600 pro and with the 5.8 catalyst driver but it just is still on the frits

well without specifics, I'd say it probably needs to be fixed.

what driver did you have before? try downgrading the driver.

Does your mobo have integrated graphics? Might be a conflict.
