Aveedesk
Hello,I enjoy using Windows 2003 and been using it for sometime now. Now I ran into a problem. Recently I purchased a Digital Camera and under Windows 2003, it does not detect it, but under winXP Pro, runs great. Any ideas on how I can use the digital camera under Windows 2003?Your help would be appreciated. Thanks,
gamehead200
Windows Server 2003 was never meant to be a workstation!! It should still detect it, as your digital camera is a mass storage device. Also, are you running both OSes on different computers? If yes, your USB port on your Windows Server 2003 computer might be disabled or faulty.
chilifrei64
I am using 2k3 as a workstation and it detects my digital camera.. I just connect it via the usb port and it sees it as removable storage.
HybridShadow
Some cameras dont work like that, I know that some of the Sony Cybershots and Kodak ones dont. They only detect as a camera, not as a Mass Storage Device
