Nerwin Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Hey guys I got another problem, I have 2 cd drives and they don't work. There installed right but they don't show up in my computer.Have any ideas?

Nerwin Posted September 16, 2005 Author Posted September 16, 2005 Nope it will only say Cd-Rom Drive. And i put all of the drivers in for the drives and they still work. But whats funny is that they work before until i restarted the computer.
hankjrfan00 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Goto www.bootdisk.com and find a dos boot disk to boot from and see if the drives will read from dos. If they do then that narrows it to a windows problem. If they still do not work my first guess would be the jumpers. Good luck!!
Nerwin Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 My drives work now. all what i did is uplug the ide cable and plug it in and rebooted the computer and it worked fine.
