realized Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 when i remote into my windows 2k3 machine, and i see a lot of "printer (from computername) in session 1 or 2" The computername == minethe session i guess is mine alsoand the printers, are printers i have on my LOCAL machine.is this normal?
Gurgelmeyer Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Yes - this is a feature, so you can print on your local printers from the ts session. It can be switched off somewhere - I think it's a group policy setting.Gurgelmeyer B)
InTheWayBoy Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 When you go to connect via RDP, there is a options button...then go to "Local Resources" and you'll see at the bottom a section called "Local Devices". Configure as you like...
chilifrei64 Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 you can also disable this from the server side by going into the RDP conenctionstart -> run -> tscc.msc -> RDP-Tcp -> Properties -> Client Settings..enable and disable as you wish
