Innocent Devil
It may may due to the setup not updating the boot.ini filecreate new entry corresponding to x64 installation in "boot.ini"replace "ntldr","ntdetect.com" from the x64 CD for the files on the HDDnow reboot the system it should work

markajm
your boot.ini should look something like:[boot loader]timeout=30default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS[operating systems]multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetectmulti(0)disk(0)rdisk(1)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional x64 Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetectyour default is probably still XP Pro, make sure the timeout is long enough to let you choose x64
