The 'Internet' is the archeologist. I don't believe there will ever be a point when everything will be "offline". Not untill the sun comsumes the Earth or we all kill eachother and cannot maintain the servers anymore.

I was just wondering where XOOM went to? They took my Arabica Screensavers site with them.

And Microsoft killed my little girl puppy dogs.. (sniff) Said they had no visitors. They're waiting for the archeologist's of the future. I mean they may not have Maltese X Shih'tzu puppies in the future.

They were uploaded with that Explorer button: Publish this Folder to the Web.

Bye, bye, girls..........

I've seen it recently and I can't remember it's address but there is a website that is archiving or has been archiving websites.

That got me thinking.. :P There was a company operating out of The Presidio. It's some old military barracks in San Francisco. Was also a movie with Sean Connery!

Could not think of their name, but I know when I closed the Furball Cannery (because I moved ISP's) they actually saved Aussie GST Calculator!

They were going to archive the whole web. Maybe got too big for them..

It's Alexa, hand01_back.gif I think. They had a Toolbar. Think they got some bad press for spying? Maybe?

[They now are owned by: Amazon.com] Don't know what they're up to.

Anyway, I did a Google search for the Furball Cannery and came up with 97 links. Good God, I'm so embarrassed I better go hide under the bed.

Caught between Iraq and a hard place! I'll say. Well, people should check their links - site has been down for two -or- three years!!!
