KamiQuazi Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Click "Show Hidden Files" and Uncheck "Hide Protected Operating System Files "Goto:C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\Local Settings\HistoryDelete everything in that folder... needless i say more? that should clear the history and if that doesn't work then Google "CrapCleaner"... and run that... -LIC2k7
Asin Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 0 days should work. That is, unless you want instantaneous results.
coconut Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 i think those urls are stored in index.dat, you can use RegSeeker to clear them. think i saw a reg tweak too that clears history everytime you close IE. try looking here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=49320
Yzöwl Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 This is a feature, however, if there were a few URLs you wished to remove from the list, whilst keeping the functionality, all you need is the freeware application IEHistoryView by Nirsoft.
