seapagan Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 For firefox, check out this post and utility, on these forums : Silence of the Foxes - it works great for me, use it all the time, and still works for 1.0.6.as far as thunderbird, no idea sorry.SP
ripken204 Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) thx, anything about thunderbird? Edited September 2, 2005 by ripken204
DigeratiPrime Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 um you need to search a little harder, Firefox and Thunderbird both install silently with the -ms switchCheck out the uAwiki for a ton of switches, if you dont see the ones you want there please pm me or add them to the wiki yourselves! http://www.btsunattended.net/wiki/doku.php...apps:switchesdb
ripken204 Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 i did try that switch and both firefox and thunderbird just went into an ininite loop of just starting the install but not installing it, there was over 100 processes worth of the install!
XPect Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 (edited) Another way is to use the portable version of the progs:Portable ThunderbirdPortable FirefoxYou can configure Firefox as you want, add the extensions and themes you need and then just make a copy or a zip file of the rep (Or just use it on an usb key) Just the same for Thunderbird.
