Any advice or relevant link will be greatly appreciated.Kind regardsJohn
IcemanND Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 you have to get the platform SDK from microsoft, it's part of it, not available seperately.from the microsoft page you have the link to:This tool is only available in the Platform SDK Components for Windows Installer Developers. It is provided as an Orca.msi file. After installing the Platform SDK Components for Windows Installer Developers, double click Orca.msi to install the Orca.exe file.
seapagan Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Here is a direct link to download the Installer SDK without having to download the whole SDK. This is from the older platform SDK, and is not the latest version, you need to get the 2003 SDK for that, but I have not found a link to download only the installer SDK yet. This version is pretty much the same though and has worked on all installers that I have found. If you go Here though, you have the option to download just parts of the 2003 SDK, or the full iso if you have the bandwidth.SP
