server down

Friends .

One of my 2000 server is down now.

once it is hanged i restarted the computer.

after that i cant login (invalied user name & password )

this is a domain ...

What should i do now ?

any option ?

help me plz .....

It is possible to create a boot CD (usually based on Linux) which can reset Admin passwords in case of issues like yours.

Try UBCD4win (http://www.ubcd4win.com). One of the tools provided is "Salas Password Renew" which lets you change any local user password easily (plus is free). Building the CD is easy and straightforward.

you say this is a domain... does the admin password that you are using work on the other computers?

but i am using win2000 server

iwant to recover the win2000 password ..

actualy one of the user logined with admin password & he changed the password ..

but not from the server ..

i solved that problem but i want a tool for this type of situations ..
