ripken204 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 (edited) well the 3000 venice is s939the 2800 is either s754(A64) or sA(Sempron)the 3000 is the better of the two by alotthe venice has the E3 stepping which is the best out so far, handles memory alot better and it runs cooler Edited August 25, 2005 by ripken204
the_anomaly Posted August 25, 2005 Author Posted August 25, 2005 (edited) @ripken204 thxBut does this really lead to any huge problems or performance issues(if u want this processor for only the next 2 yrs or so)........ from the reviews that i've read at Newegg this thing semms to be okay except that it hasnt got the SSE3 instructions as u mentioned. It doesnt seem bad for da costHey cud u pls suggest to go with it too?? I think the ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe with nforce 4 may be gud choice for the processorwot say?? Edited August 25, 2005 by the_anomaly
ripken204 Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 well i would recommend going s939 but if u want so save money then you can get s754 if u want to. that board will be fine for you. are you planning on getting the M2 in 2 years? i think its coming out next year but it will take a little while till they fix all of the bugs and stuff.
