gui_m Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 (edited) I just bought a Hitachi 250GB 8MB Buffer SATA drive and I wanted to set up a RAID 0 config on my PC. I know that they have to be the same size but to they have to be the same model/manufacturer? E.g. can i configure with a Seagate 250GB? Edited August 24, 2005 by gui_m

FAT64 Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I wasn't aware they even had to be the same capacity, it's just that you'll only have the equivalent of the smaller capacity hard drive in the mirror set.
