ripken204 Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 please dont leave out words in the sentence, and please use punctuation. partition magic is fine for partitioning but i have no clue what your problem is?
el_rob3 Posted August 22, 2005 Author Posted August 22, 2005 ok iam not perfect in englishmy problem is when copy the games from my HDD to the 160 HDD the PC is hang after restart there is no partitions?????????that is the problem.the company technical engineer said that the problem was from partitioning. is it logic??
Rob00GT Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 OK, so you installed a 160GB drive and partitioned it. You then tried to copy over some games and the system failed. Are you trying to copy games that you've installed on your pc or just copying files? If a game is installed on your pc you can't just copy it over to another hard drive. If you think it might be the formatting and partitioning that are causing the problem, why not just use WinXP to format the drive? Right click "My Computer" and click "Manage". Select "Disk Management" and then format and partition all you want.
