hakeem5454 Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 My sister is moving in with another person with a laptop, and they both want to go wireless. They have a modem and a router and everything they need. The problem is that one of them have to be connected with the ethernet wire dont they? So how would they be able to both go wireless?
RaynotRoy Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Incorrect, both laptops can browse the network and even copy files between the two at the same time. No special setup required.

Don't get confused by the extra ports on the back. Those are for computers that you want to have wired. If the router has 1-2 antennas on the back of it, it is wireless. This will help you out setting up your SECURE wireless network! http://www.astromike.com/wireless.html
