ringfinger Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 On the hunt for suggestions as to what the best wireless 802.11 a/b/g sniffer is. Looking for something that will allow me to find all wireless networks in range of me, details of the network, and to connect to the network if open/shared and WEP is disabled. Win32, preferably made for 2000/XP. Any wireless sniffer suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
gamehead200 Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Network Stumbler is a good one, and highly used!
Bigbrit Posted August 19, 2005 Posted August 19, 2005 Look at the following web site. I have one and it works really well.If buying try Cyberguys.com, cheaper.https://www.canarywireless.com/shop/shopdis...%2DFi+Detectors
ringfinger Posted August 19, 2005 Author Posted August 19, 2005 Thanks gamehead... I use network stumbler as well. I like the app but it doesn't have the functionality that allows you to connect to the network. I do like the graphs though! @Bigbrit, thanks for the suggestion I'll try it out. I am hoping to find freeware though.
