trickytwista Posted August 14, 2005 Posted August 14, 2005 hi guys, sorry if this seems a stupid question but,, is it possible to password protect a floppy disk at all?? preferably freeware if possible but i dont mind paying for it if aint too expensive, thanks guys, twista
trickytwista Posted August 14, 2005 Author Posted August 14, 2005 what im trying to do is prevent anyone copying them but still being able to use them, thank you
GeneralMandible Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 If they can't copy protect a DVD, I think it will be hard to do with a floppy, especially if you want to maintain functionality. About the only thing I can think of is some encryption software. I would think it would be awfully slow having to read and decrypt data from a floppy.
