possible to password prorect a floppy?

hi guys, sorry if this seems a stupid question but,, is it possible to password protect a floppy disk at all?? preferably freeware if possible but i dont mind paying for it if aint too expensive, thanks guys, twista

what im trying to do is prevent anyone copying them but still being able to use them, thank you

If they can't copy protect a DVD, I think it will be hard to do with a floppy, especially if you want to maintain functionality. About the only thing I can think of is some encryption software. I would think it would be awfully slow having to read and decrypt data from a floppy.
