It's me again (the guy with the problem with the exe's getting deleted). I've found another problem. Maybe this one can be tracked down.

Because of the above mentioned problem, I decided to embed XPize uAE 2 in my custom XP CD.

I tried it too different ways: Including it as a hotfix in nLite, and also apply a I386 patch to the folder after nLite was done.

In both cases the following problem happens: I am not able to repair or disable my wireless internet connection. After I get into windows, I install my wireless driver and connect to my wireless network.

If I right click the connection in the tray and click repair and it says:

Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed:
Disabling the wireless network adapter

Make sure your network adapter is properly installed.

If I right click the connection in the tray and click disable, it says:

It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.

A few days later and 10 cd's in the garbage I finally narrowed it down. It is XPize, 100% sure. I created a windows install folder using nLite, created an ISO, burned it, and installed it. Everyone works fine. I took took that same folder I used before, integrated XPize, created a new ISO, burned it, and installed it. Now the problem happens.

I tried everything. Restarting. Reinstalling adapter. Removing protocols. Looking in Event Log. Couldn't find anything. Maybe you can.

After some careful thought and consideration, I may have to agree that I haven't been able to disable my wireless card as of late either. At first I thought it was due to my disabling services, but with this build not only have i not disabled any, i haven't removed any that aren't safe to remove.
