Assertion ?

when i bootup my computer I get the following screen......I'm not sure what has happened. I can puish retry and it goes away....until I open up IE. I do not use IE I use Firefox as my browser but this screen shows up whenever I reboot.....I have done the IE fix but it's still doing it...any help ??

I take it you're not doing any Visual programming and this isn't occuring due to something you've created? Check here and I don't know if this one will be of any help or not. It suggests a service pack... but I'm guessing you've already got it. Have you ran spyware/virus scans? I'd research the error and the files involved on good 'ol google.
