Bobgimley
I bought a student copy of XP Pro from my university and the PID in setupp.ini is 76487000. Can any one shed a little light on what version of xp this is? I've tried google and a number of forums to try to find out what it is but have found very little. It doesn't conform to any of the common versions discussed here (retail, vlk, oem). The cd name seems to be a retail xp pro w/ sp2 but the PID doesn't seem to match. Just looking for a little info out of interest. Many thanks in advance for anything anybody can add.

Jito463
Usually those copies are just OEM versions but technically without a "license".
