Maybe You Guys can help me.I have a computer that has Windows XP SP 2 and it is not connected to the network and thats way I have disabel firewall, winupdate and there is no antivirus.Each time we restart the computer it displays "Your Computer might be at risk"Is there a way to stop the "darn" thing to display this message whitout turning on the firewall ?thanks

HybridShadow Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Or in the control panel go into administrative toolsthen services find 'Security Center' right click go into its properties and set it to disabled in the drop down menu then click 'stop' service and reboot and the "security centre' is gone!
ripken204 Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 mines disabled too, i did it thru services.msci have an AV, dont need a firewall b/c router is enough for me, and i use the ryanvm pack for updates b/c that actually has the updates, u can only dload like half of them from windows update
