wolfal
gh200, has the problem been in existance from day one of installing WMP or did the problem just recently start.I am using the latest version 9.00.00.2980 and find no problems at all, maybe you should upgrade? But maybe you should check out the polls on the WMP 9.0 first at:http://www.cnet.com/software/0-3227898-121...8-20361919.html w00t

DaveH
I would strongly urge that you upgrade to the 9 series Windows Media Player and see if there is a noticable difference in quality. If you are still experiencing the problem, post back. Also, when posting problems like that, try to give a better description of your Sound Card, what media you are trying to play; what type of media file it is, and what codecs if ANY you have install windows %SYSTEMROOT%/SYSTEM32 that may help out alot. Crispy
I would strongly urge that you upgrade to the 9 series Windows Media Player and see if there is a noticable difference in quality.Agreed ... Wmp9 includes so many bugs fixes that there is the a strong chance that the (posible) bug that is cause this may be corected... You could also try turning of everything for the enhancement menu ( view --> enhancements --> ).
